this was my first painting of them, from last summer. they deserved better, i guess.

Kriem went from a single tear to sobbing dramatically into both hands.

He grabs her shoulders and shakes her. Kriem I was joking! it was all a joke! Blue rose never kissed me, and if she did I would have punched her lights out! P-please stop crying! Look, I got you a joker mad bear for april fools day! He pulls it out from behind the couch cushions. Kriem…!

Voicemail?! VOICEMAIL?! Did all his calls, ever since his call for help went straight to.. Voicemail?!- “I-I-I don’t know, I——”
Jake called him Ivan. And Ivan… He stepped away from Jake, looking as menacing as he could.- “I’m not turning back.”
I’d prefer if you didn’t.
Jake smiled. I’ve told my wife to come. She’ll take care of you. I won’t even have to lift a finger.
“S-She will?” -Ivan couldn’t really think of an escape plan. Not after knowing that Jake could read thoughts. Not that one crossed his mind, either way.- “F-Fine! So be it! The Heroes will come either way, because everyone know who you are!”
Kriem hurried to the location Jake had told her to meet him at, and sure enough, she spotted him along with - Kriem? Oh, so he wasn’t joking. She took a moment to smile at the sight. Aw, is that how they looked together? How cute! After a moment of day dreamed she snapped right back into reality and strolled up to the two men(?).
Mister Jake….Kriem….
